Chalet da Maria is located in a strategic position for those who love the mountains and nature.
We are in Mura, a small village at about 700 meters above sea level surrounded by nature – with breathtaking views over the Brescia pre-Alps.
Here nothing stands in the way of a relaxing holiday. Cozy atmosphere, hiking areas within easy reach and fantastic views – these are the ingredients for a dream vacation!
In Vallesabbia you will find many options for walking, climbing, cycling and visiting Lake Garda, Lake Idro and Lake Iseo.
Within a few kilometres you will find the little Bongi lake, the famous Parco delle Fucine di Casto, the Ferrate of the Nasego refuge and the Rocca d’Anfo, the largest Napoleonic fortress in Italy.
There are many walks and excursions that start in the vicinity of the Villa. Upon reservation, on Sundays, it is possible to make excursions on horseback with a guide, starting directly from the Chalet.
We highly advise you to have a car to be able to reach the various destinations in the surrounding areas.
In Mura it is possible to visit the beautiful parish church of S. Maria Assunta, full of paintings and art. On August 15th the patron saint of the town is celebrated and for the occasion, from August 13th to 15th, you can take part in the patronal feast which ends with wonderful fireworks.
